ESP in Vauxhall cars

Just a note of caution to readers. It appears Vauxhall have started producing cars with ESP as standard but it is not possible to switch it off on basic models.

I bought a Vauxhall Zafira in October and was surprised to learn that they do not provide the button to switch the ESP off. My 10 year old Peugeot simply had an ESP off button, which was very useful in snowy conditions. I wait to see if I can travel anywhere when the snow starts to fall.

GM did this before with the Signum. Seems to be policy.

Enjoyable and comfortable to drive, some really good engine choices, does a decent job on practicality.
