Mytyres.co.uk: warning signs?
When I tried to purchase online four winter wheels/tyres from Mytyres.co.uk, they initially took my order, and confirmed by email. But very shortly after I received a second email which stated 'as per company policy we can only process your order upon receipt of payment in advance'.
American Express advised they had authorized the payment, but MyTyres had 'immediately' reversed it. In spite of a call to the MyTyres customer service number, they gave no other option, and would not try to process the credit card request again.
Although you highly recommend them, I would be wary of any company that acts this way, and cancelled my order with them rather than transferring cash. I will be trying one of your other recommended suppliers instead.

Nothing wrong with mytyres (bit.ly/2I7N1bv). It just does not accept every method of payment. It's actually a German company operating from a UK URL. That's why it can get wheel and tyre combinations not available in the UK.
