Cold starting problem

My car struggles to start as soon as the weather gets cold - but once started, even if its turned off, it will start in one go. Two years back, it used to struggle a bit - but now it's very bad.

Once its starts then the problem goes away. If we leave for couple of hours in the cold weather then the problem reoccurs.
