Winter tyres & rims

I have a Mondeo Titanium X Sport on 235/40 R19 tyres. What smaller rims would be OK with what winter tyres? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Mondeo wheel and tyre sizes are:

6.5J x 16-inch steel wheels with 205/55 R16 tyres

7.5J x 17-inch alloy wheels with 235/45 R17 or RF17 tyres

8.0J x 18-inch Alloy wheels with 235/40 R18 tyres

I think you're on 18s, not 19s. But 17s or 16s better for winter tyres.
