Blocking out winter sun when driving

I find it extremely difficult to drive in bright sunlight. Is there a product I can stick on the windscreen to 'block out' the brightness but which I can see through?

Polarising sunglasses, if you are not already a spectacle wearer.

Otherwise, and additionally, judicious use of the sun visors because the problem is the angle of the sun.
