Fiat electrics - two faults, are they related?
My Fiat Punto has been into the garage to have its failed heating/ventilation fan replaced, so that I could de-mist the windscreen again. After two days, it stopped working again, and now I've had to have the loom replaced.
Could the mis-functioning fan cause the loom to burn out? Are these two faults connected or just coincidence?

They could be connected, particularly if the wrong fuse has been fitted.
