Mercedes Benz Dealer

I bought a brand new Mercedes-Benz from the dealer at Croydon 10 days ago. Before the delivery I have noticed that this car could be a 2011 model as it was written in a small print on one of the documents and therefore I immediately contacted the dealer to ask wether this is a 2012 or 2011 model. Everyone I talked to told me that this is the latest model and latest specification and that my concern is not justified. I asked for a written confirmation from the chief manager which he agreed to do and therefore I accepted the delivery of the car as I thought I was mistaken.

To my shock, I found that this is the 125 anniversary model of Mercedes-Benz which falls in 2011 and not 2012. Also the specifications are not the latest as they told me.

Can I return the car and get a full refund? The contract is based on these written and verbal statements and therefore void but they are refusing to negotiate a refund. I don't want to haggle the price down because I don't want to deal with these dealers ever again.
