Keyfob has become slow to unlock my Mondeo

A year ago my keyfob began to take several goes to lock/unlock the car. The main dealer changed the battery (in the fob) but the problem persists. Is it easily fixed, or does it imply the sort of bill that means I should change the car?

The fob itself may be faulty. Try getting a replacement from Timpsons.

I have a 2002 Mondeo but the central locking won't lock when using the fob, yet it works fine with the key. By this I mean if u use the fob it just unlocks itself straight away after locking.
I've heard there can be problems changing a battery in a fob key. Is this true or can you just simply change it?
The driver's door and the driver's side rear locks wont work with the fob on my 2006 Honda Ridgeline. What can I do to fix this? I really don't want to take it to a dealer, they will charge more than it's...
