Can I recover the plate from a long-scrapped car?
My late father owned an Austin 7 Ruby, many years ago. I now know it has been scrapped, I would love to own the number plate for personal reasons, is there any chance it can be issued?

The reg has to be on a car with a current MoT and tax or on a retention certificate. You could try to source it from a registrations dealer.
