What small car for long economical runs?
What small/ medium 3 year old car/ mpv will achieve 30 mph per 1000 rpm in top gear? Anything from Ford Ka to Focus in size.

Can't think of any petrol models that do. Normally the best you get is 25mph / 1,000rpm in 6th. Just about every diesel is geared at between 30mph and 40mph per 1,000rpm.
