When's my Saab need a new cam belt?
Does the cam belt on a Saab 93 Vector Sport need to be replced when the car is 8 years old, with 40,000 miles on the clock?

Presuming that this is a petrol engine, it does not have a timing belt. It has a timing chain and as long as the oil is kept clean it should last the life of the car. On the other hand, if it is a 1.9 diesel, it definitely needs a fresh timing belt and waterpump.
