Which engine for my Audi A6?

I want to buy a new Audi A6 Avant with a 2.0 or 3.0 litre engine. Which is the best engine and gearbox? Is the 3-litre worth the extra money?

Presumably you mean the 3.0 litre diesel. Yes, that is definitely a lot better than the 2.0 litre diesel that requires a new timing belt every 4 years.
