Putting an auto in N at the lights?
I am a very happy Hyundai i30 1.6 auto (2007) owner, my Father-in-law says I should always put the transmission into N while stopped at traffic lights, but I've read that the gearbox is designed with that in mind so it is not necessary, what is your view?

I would put it in N when stopped for any period of more than a few seconds so I don;t blind the driver behind with my stoplights.
