Are there any issues with ex-BMW owned car?
I am looking at buying a 6 month old ex-BMW management approved 320d with 2k or 4k miles. I have no idea how the car has been driven. Will there be any issues if it has not been driven too carefully? Tending towards a manual but should I be going for an auto. I need to keep the car for about 7 years as I drive about 24k miles a year.

Could have been a demo car, could have been a Helphire courtesy car, could have been press fleet. I know because I've got one. I can't see any problem. Auto gets over possible problems with dual mass flywheel, but I can't tell you how long the 8 speed auto will last. I'm currently averaging 67.5mpg in a 320d ED. That's the one to get, on the deep profile 205/60 R16 tyres.
