Changing to a comfortable car
As two 80 year olds we need a car that is easy to get into and out. We have a 1.6 C Max 2004 diesel auto with 30K but it is perhaps entering a more expensive period.
If we were to change - apart from a second hand C Max - and it would be a petrol this time as we do small mileage runs, what other second hand cars that are cheaper to run should we look at?
Maximum of £10000

You are very lucky that a C-Max 1.6TDCI CVT has lasted as long as it has. Unfortunately the trade will be very wary of this car as a p/x. I guess you could look at a later same shape C-Max 2.0 4-speed torque converter auto, Toyota Verso 1.8i Valvematic Multidrive S, or a Nissan Note 1.6 auto.
