Siting of speed cameras?
I have just been given notice of intention to prosecute for exceeding the speed limit in a 30 mph zone. However, the mobile speed camera was located about 100 yards beyond the 30 mph de-restriction sign pointing towards the restricted area (ie, in a de-restricted (60mph) area). Is this legal?

Yes. They also site them 200 - 300 meters into a 30 limit from a 60 limit so they can get drivers who don't slow to 30 before the signs, which is what most drivers in fact do.
