Should I worry about DPF and DMF?
I have a June 2010 C Max, manual, 2.0L Duratorq-TDCi (136PS) - DW10, old model, with DMF and am pretty certain a DPF. The car has done 34k and I usually do around 16K per year including towing a caravan for about 1.5K. The car is excellent and has no problems, but in view of the concerns raised in your column re problems in similar vehicles what is the best age or mileage for me to change this vehicle?

I had one of these and found it very reluctant to run in 6th at 50mph or below, so guess you can't be doing much towing in 6th. That might not be too bad for the DPF because the turbo will get very hot. I hope you remember to idle the turbo for a minute or two whenever you stop after towing. Fords have sprung DMFs which are more reliable than the compound type.
