Tyres for BMW X3
I am considering buying a used X3 but have been told that all 4 tyres must be changed at the same time, every time. Something to do with 4wd transfer box (?). I find this very strange - but is it true.

Yes, otherwise the electronics become confused by the different rotational speeds of the tyres.
