Real fuel economy of the 2011 Focus?
I really like the look of the 2011 Focus, it gets excellent reviews in most motoring journals.
So why is the real fuel consumption from your register, submitted by owners, so poor for the 2.0TDCi 140bhp model?
2.0 TDCI - 38.1–46.9 mpg
The equivalent power diesel A3, the Golf, i30 even the newest diesel engine Astras get well 50 MPG. Should I take it that if I buy one, not to expect more than 47mpg?

The 1.6 TDCI 115 is much more economical. 55 - 60mpg.
