Diesel engine continues running after ignition switch-off

the engine continues to run after ignition switch off and key removal. Engine tone louder and clackety higher revs. Engine will rev using throttle - but no injector pump advance. To stop the engine either stall in 5th gear, or disconnect Hesder unit injector pump fuel feed. Suspect black box in line between fuel feed (from fuel tank) to header unit (fuel cut out ?)

It's getting its fuel as engine lube oil either from a failed turbo oil seal or is otherwise siphoning it from the sump.
