Focus in limp mode
I bought 52 plate Focus TDCI and while driving it the glow plug light started coming on and flashing at 70mph - the engine cut out on a dual carriageway, so I pulled over with no power steering and stopped. After ten minutes it started again and I got a further 20 miles - same again. Got started and home, but what to do now?

Well your engine is going into limp mode, this is because one of the many sensors fitted has failed.
It could be the glow plugs but could could also be one of the sensors.
Best thing to do would be to have a diagnostic check carried out. This should then show up as a fault code ie P ---- 4 numbers.
