Turbo problems with a Focus TDCi
I used to own a 2005 Focus 1.6tdci that had two turbo failures in quick sucession. I am aware that there is a problem with these cars and have disposed of mine. I liked the car and now want another Focus Diesel, but need to know if the Focus 1.6 TDCi that came in in 2008 still has the same problem or would I be better off looking for a 1.8 tdci?

They fixed it from the 2008 facelift. The problem itself is detailed here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/ford/focus-2004/?sec...d
