Real MPG figures

Generally speaking a motorist pressed for cash would be driving an older car. So why don't you publish mpg figures for older vehicles?

I would like to have the option of submitting my mpg figures for a Vauxhall Corsa B 1.2 8V. I know several are still on the road and it would be beneficial for other motorists.

From my experience, fuel economy varies from as low as 24.6mpg(imp) to 37.8mpg(imp) depending on driving style, and weather conditions.

Sorry, that is not the point. The real life mpg figures are to give a more realistic idea of economy for cars tested on the ECDC than the official figures give.
