Air condenser not covered by warranty
Having owned my C30 1.8 SE sport R design for nearly 12 months (bought approved used with 12 month warrantly from volvo main dealer) I am very dissappointed with the problems I have suffered with the car.
Current mileage is 19,359 and in the 11 months of ownership the car has had an oil leak, which was found to be the cam cover gasket misaligned hence replaced under warranty.
However, at present the aircon on the car fails to blow cold air. I have been advised by the dealer that a stone has damaged the condenser (easily done as the condenser is exposed behind front air intake) and the cost to replace it is circa £900.
My dealer says the replacement part and labour are not covered under my warranty as this is a 'wear and tear' item. Obviously I am very angry about this. Can anyone suggest what I can do to try to get the dealer to carry out the work under warranty?, I feel this type of fault should not occur on a 4 year old low mileage car from a 'premium' brand.

No. Damage is not covered by the warranty. A lot of a/c condensers on a lot of cars are equally vulnerable.
