Audi A3 - almost too good to be true?
I have been investigating an Audi A3 1.8 TFSI (2008) that's been selling for a little below market value (according to Whatcar's free valuations). I have done a vehicle check on it using autotrader's service and it has come back with no adverse data recorded.
On the face of it, it all checks out. It apparently has full main dealer service history (a fact that I will be asking for confirmatory documentation on when I go to view the car), and appears to be in fairly good condition. It has 48k miles on the clock.
I can't help being suspicious of the sale price though. It's a trade advert I came across on autotrader (white cottage car centre in Mirfield), yet it seems to be sold at below what is expected?
Is this as suspicious as I am feeling it is? Or have I really lucked out and happened across a bargain? What advice can you give me in terms of what to look for (with Audi A3s of this age and mileage in particular), and vital information that I can get from the dealer (or anyone else)?
