Car Park rip off - what do you suggest?

I recently received a £60 parking fine in Grasmere Lake District. Having payed £5 parking charge and clearly payed and displayed i have no idea what the fine is for?

They state how long i was there and have pictures of my car entering and exiting. What do i do?

If this was a private carpark, don't pay and let them take you to court. If it was a public (council owned) carpark then you are accused of a decriminalised parking offence and the procedure is to pay then appeal to the adjudicator.
