Sale of Goods Act - am I covered?
From reading your section on the Sale of Goods Act I believe that I am covered but just wanted to check before informing the dealer of this.
Two weeks ago I bought an 08 Mondeo from a small dealer. It came with a 3 month Law Data Warranty. I have just found that there is a split in the main Turbo Hose, I have informed the dealer and been told to contact Law Data but they tell me neither the Turbo or Hose is covered. The dealer tells me that if the Law Data Warranty does not cover it I will have to pay for the repair myself.
I live in Bristol but the dealer is in Enfield so distance is an issue but after reading your section on the Sale of Goods Act I believe that the dealer is responsible for this repair and I can insist on having the repair done locally, is this correct?

You can inform the dealer in writing that he is liable to make the repair and if he refuses you will have the repair carried out in Bristol and will send him the bill. If he refuses to pay you will take the matter to the small claims track of the county court where there is a 95% chance he will be compelled to pay.
