Should I change my car or stick with my Mercedes-Benz?

I currently own a Merc E220 CDI Avantegarde on a 58 plate 21729 miles and cover approx 3500 miles per annum. I am thinking about changing the vehicle but am unsure what to consider. I would like something with the same size of accommodation & the same if not better performance. Do you have any suggestions?

Firstly, this is a good way to lose a lot of money. Trade price for the car is about £13,000 and you probably paid about £35,000 new. So that's more than £5,500 a year down the drain in depreciation alone. I'd hang onto to it for at least another couple of years to better amortise the original cost. But if you want (and can afford) to change, you might as well look at the current model W212 E Class: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/mercedes-benz/e-clas.../
