Strange tyre wear on a Fiesta

I was wondering if you could shed some light on a problem I have with my Fiesta. First a little history. It's an 08 plate TDCi Zetec S. I brought it just over three months ago from a Ford Main Dealer and for peace of mind carried out a full HPi Check to ensure it had not been in an accident or finance outstanding. The only thing it needed was a couple of front tyres, although the old ones were ok and still legal they weren't far off needing replacing.

I replaced them with Continental Sport Contact 3 tyres three months ago, I have now noticed that the outer edge (first band of tread blocks) of the N/S front tyre are wearing in an irregular way and far faster than the rest of the tyre. I have had the tracking checked and been told this was spot on. I have noticed that the wear is odd, each block seems to be taller at the leading edge and thins out toward the trailing edge.

From doing some digging around I think this may be known as "Saw Tooth" similar to feathering but from front to back on the tread. The back edge of these blocks now slopes all the way down to the tyre surface.

What could be causing this? I am a very spirited driver and like to push the car quite hard round bends and roundabouts (it's 90bhp so the straight line fun factor really isn't there). I have never had this on any other car though and these are the first set of continental tyres I've owned which have a fairly soft compound.

Any advice would be appreciated as these tyres aren't cheap and I'm very safety minded when it comes to ensuring my car is in a roadworthy condition.

The weight of the engine and the torque will wear the outer shoulders of the front tyres if you push it. because wear is exponential and will therefore increase on the worn tyre, the simplest thing to do is swap the fronts side to side.
