I purchased the above used car from the Lookers Renault Dealership in Stockport on the 12/05/11. On the 25/03/12, I went to my car and it was full of smoke, The next day I rang up the dealership where I purchased the car from, I wanted an actual Renault garage to look at the car as I felt they would be best placed to repair the damage and inform me of the actual fault. I thought because of the seriousness of the incident that the repairs would be fixed with no cost attached. I was informed that because the fault was the window regulator, a fault which happened with my car model (although usually it is just the regulator shorting out, Not burning out and filling the car with smoke) and offered to pay 62% of the repairs, air con sanitize and valet as a good will gesture. I agreed to the goodwill gesture because we are currently in the courtesy car is costing us. My family could have been in the car when the incident happened, Is there anyone i can contact about this matter to take it further?
