Water in footwell of Rover 75

I would like to find out why water is finding it way in to the offside rear footwell, Other side and front is dry.

Possibly failure of the damp proof plastic membrane inside the driver's door. Could also be due to blocked vent plenum chamber drains: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/rover/75-1999/?secti...d
