I want a small cheap used diesel?

I reckon I can save around £70 per month by swapping my Vectra DTi for something smaller with a low tax, high MPG diesel engine. Max spend around £2k. Would like a Corsa 1.3 CDTi but may be out of price range, considering Clio 1.5 DCi but concerned about reliability and repair costs, so also looking at Punto 1.9 JTD but again unsure on reliability. Fiesta and Polo 1.4 TDCi seem to be out of my budget. Any recommendations or other options?

You are going to have a huge problem finding something cheap to tax and run for this sort of money because that's 20% of car owners in the country want to do. Consequently, anything cheap to run and cheap to tax is expensive to buy. Supply and demand.
