When should I sell my old car?
I bought this car in 2001 with 18 miles on it, now it has 132K on the clock. It’s almost bomb proof, it’s a 1.8 SE Auto, with Recaros I had fitted because of my back injury.
It will cost me £600 to run this (I have a blue badge) and that includes my service, 2 new tyres (just about to take my winters off) and a new battery tomorrow.
My question is at what point should I sell the car and get an economical newer one as I have a new agency which could pile on the mileage.
I used to do 40k a year with a diesel van before my accident, and the Accord does drink petrol. It will be a hard break as the car’s just perfect for me.

The car is virtually worthless so you might as well continue running it until you suffer an expensive failure and have to scrap it.
