Rough running Corsa
I recently purchased the above car from a Vauxhall dealer. Having read your columns and back room all the negative press about DMF's has got me thinking. I notice that when I accelarate through the gears in 4th,5th and 6th Gear if i try accelarating gently from about 1500 to 2000 rpm the engine does not pull strongly, its almost like im in the wrong gear, Which perhaps i am as from 2000rpm it is fine.
Having read the press reports it does seem that the engine is noted to be gruff and unrefined, which it is and I can live with. m just a little concerned this is the first signs of a failing DMF.

This is actually quite a good little diesel engine when it's running properly. I suspect there is a problem with then DPF and someone has fiddled with the warning lights.
