Starting issues with an Audi A4

I have an Audi A4 TDI 96 plate. I've had the battery and starter motor changed and still can't start it.

When the key is in the ingition all the lights on the dashboard come as normal and then go off as normal but the car isn't ticking over. We can bump start no problem but just can't start the car by turning the key.

Well we would suggest that you try the following.
1.Disconnect the battery
2. Leave for 2 mins
3. Reconnect the battery BUT DO NOT SWITCH anything on at all
4. Leave for 30 mins
5. Now restart the car
This should have allowed the ECU to reset itself(clear any fault codes)
