Ford Fiesta 'Engine System Fault'
Frequently at 70mph the 'Engine System Fault' message appears and the car, 2008 Fiesta TDCI goes into Limp Home Mode.
Ford plugged it in and said that it pointed towards the fuel filter, which we had changed. We were advised also that the fuel injectors needed changing, but haven't had them done yet. We still get the message and it goes into LHM. Would the fuel injectors cause the the fault alarm to appear?

Could do. But first try some decent diesel. A tank of Shell V-Power with its excellent lubricity and detergent package might sort it out.
