Brake issues with Mercedes-Benz E-Class
My E-Class started perfectly and did a 5km run and I put on the screen heater briefly.
The following day the car started perfectly but the screen warning of electrical systems disconnected with red warning light, also saying brakes faulty, stop immediately.
Fitted new battery and brake warning disappeared but there is still red warning light. Any ideas?

There is a known problem with the 'Sensotronic' brakes of 2002 - 2006 W211 E Class and MB seems to be generous about fixing this (possibly under threat of a VOSA safety recall), so I'd get it to a Mercedes dealer.
