Buying an Audi A4 diesel for town use?
I am looking at buying an Audi A4 Saloon. I have been advised by the Audi dealer that, although I live in London and use a car mainly in town type traffic, the Audi diesel is perfectly OK.
Other people have advised against buying a diesel for city-type driving but Audi maintain that the 122 SE Diesel is absolutely fine.

Get the supplying dealer to sign an unconditional guarantee that you will have no DPF problems whatsoever driving the car in the city for 5 years and make it a condition of purchase.
