I own a 6-year old Honda Accord estate. It's due for a service and has done 44,000 miles. The dealer says it needs the cam belt changing although this is not due until 75,000 miles. Does it need doing? I noticed on the V5 that the colour says silver whereas it is dark grey. Does this matter?

A 6-year-old Accord has a timing chain engine, not a timing belt engine. The previous model 1998 - 2003 Accord was belt cam. The reference may be to the auxiliaries drivebelt. I wouldn't worry about the V5C. What looks silver to some people is metallic grey to others.
