Hit or myth?
To counterbalance the negative feedback on VW I am pleased to report that I am a happy owner of a VW Passat. I bought my first Passat, a V5 automatic, in 2002. This I traded in against my current car, a Passat 2.0 TDi estate in 2006. I have had 9 years of trouble free motoring.

Fair enough. Now I need another 500 emails from people with your experience of VWs to counterbalance the vast numbers I have received as the result of over expectation of quality and reliability. Actually it’s 495 because I received 5 emails similar to yours.
