Do all car insurance policies provide cover for someone else to drive my car in the event of an emergency?
I have just renewed my insurance through Saga, and am surprised (and delighted) to find a clause that, in the event of a medical or motoring emergency, allows me to give permission to anyone to drive my car. I have never seen this before and think we should give credit where it is due, so good one, Saga.

Good, because it clarifies a difficult situation. A lot of people still think their insurance qualifies them to drive anyone else's insured car when it may not.
