Where can I report harassment from a car parking company?

A brief note to let you know that the parking gestapo has finally agreed to cease pursuing me for failing to display my valid ticket 'correctly'. It has been an unpleasant experience and I was subjected to increasingly hostile demands. I wonder what can be done about this unreasonable behaviour?

Readers who follow my advice find that private parking enforcers almost always back down: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/parking-fines. If not, they need to threaten to report them for breaching the Protection from Harassment Act 1997.
