FIAT HotAir?
I spoke with you about a Fiat 500 TwinAir that our family is planning to buy. You told me you were going on a 600-mile trip in one over the weekend. Can you tell me where you went, and if it was hilly, and did it involve a lot of motorway travelling? Were you comfortable on such a long trip? What was your fuel consumption, and your up to date opinion on this car? Is there a better car in the same class we should consider.

Here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/news/green-motoring/2011-02/5...y Northumberland, 510 miles motorway. 90 miles of hilly A and B and white roads. 48.3mpg. Yes, very comfortable. But only slightly more economical than my own 500 1.2 petrol and a lot less economical in town. But the 500 TwinAir is huge fun, especially the way it ridicules CO2 taxation by finding a legal way to cheat at it.
