Looking for a big family car
I am looking for a big car for my three kids and wife. Which car is big and cheap? I only really need a 5-seater and only have about £3,500 to spend? What do you think of the old Skoda Superb? Is a saloon too limiting for a family? Any ideas? Lots of room for £3.5k?

Ford Mondeo III best value for money. A lot of Superb 1.9Ds will have been used as taxis and will have done mega miles. Later Superb 1.9Ds had fold-down rear seatbacks. Early ones did not.
