We are both retired and in our sixties. My present car is a 2003 reg Toyota RAV-4 (3 door) with only 35,000 miles on the clock (less than 5,000 miles a year). I have always been delighted with the car but it soon will be time to consider changing it. I shall put off the evil day until it starts to have mechanical problems. Incidentally, my husband drives a Toyota Prius that he also likes very much. I need to have space in my car for two child seats for our grandchildren, currently we have one aged 3 years and one eight months. I don’t want to consider another RAV-4 as they only come as 5 door models now and so are much bigger than my current car and quite expensive both to buy and run. I also want something that is cheaper to run and greener. My thoughts so far have been Honda Civic or Jazz, Toyota Yaris or Skoda Fabia. Do you have any other ideas, please?
