I have been a left-foot braker since my first automatic in 1988 and only ever use my right foot for the accelerator. As you are no doubt aware, if the car does not have an extended brake pedal, then it can be a bit of a nutcracker for us males. Surprisingly, my cheapest car in the last fifteen years, a Chrysler Neon had an excellent wider pedal, whereas my current and previous BMWs do not, but easily remedied with a heavy steel plate and two new rubbers cut to fit it. Please keep up the campaign.
