I was interested to read of the difficulties JG of London, SW5 is having with the Command sat nav on his Mercedes-Benz C320CDI. I also bought a 2009 320CDI and the satnav would only handle some UK postcodes. My colleague similarly bought a 220CDI at the same time. However, the build of his car was later than mine and he has the full range of UK postcodes on his Command system. Mercedes-Benz would do nothing about my problem until, on advice from you, I threatened to reject the car as unsuitable quality. Their response came within 24 hours and the latest software was installed giving me total range of UK postcodes. They would have preferred me to have bought the update for around £200.
