Setting sale
I recently enquired about a BMW 635csi Highline for sale in Liverpool. I have been in contact with the seller about the car and have asked him any problems wrong with it. I first rang him last weekend and asked him about any faults with the car and he told me.
I said to him that I would like to view the car this weekend and will contact him on Friday just to make sure it is still for sale and that he is ready for me to view it. So I rang him last night and he said, "Sorry the car has been sold today at midday".
So first of all I thought that that is normal as it was quite a clean car. But then I thought is he just telling me that because I asked him quite a lot of questions about the car, and he thought that it would he quite a hard sale. I asked him a lot of questions because I am in Northampton, about 150 miles away.
So this Saturday morning, I asked my wife to ring him and see whether the car is still for sale and he answered saying, "Yes the BMW 635csi Highline is still for sale". I find this very annoying as I like the car very much. Could you possibly please tell me any ways of still getting the car with my wife and me coming with her? The only thing is when he knows it's me who rang about it at first he might not want me to buy it.

He doesn't want to deal with you. That's his privilege. He is allowed to make that decision. He's worried that if you bought it you would come back to him with all sorts of problems. And all sorts of problems are inevitable on an old high performance car like this.
