Ford Galaxy cutting out
I have a Ford Galaxy 2.3 (2000) it runs perfectly but occasionally it won't start. Give it 5 or 10 mins it starts and drives well, but now it has started cutting out while driving and I give it 5 or so minutes and drives well again. There is no reason to it? Can you help?

The problem you describe is rather difficult to analyse, and given that there are so many sensors etc. that could cause this, then we would recommend that a diagnostic check is carried out in the first instance. However, before that always check for any air/vacuum leaks around the engine.
Faults that it could be are.
1. CKP (crankshaft sensor)
2. CMP (camshaft sensor)
3. ECT (engine coolant temp sensor)
4. MAF (mass air flow sensor)
5. IAC (idle air control valve)
As you can see trying to identify the problem is difficult hence the diagnostic check, this should show up the fault as a code, which can then be related to the actual fault.
