Tinkling noise from ix20 diesel
I am very pleased with my ix20 disel - 4 months old.
However very occasionally (and never at the dealers), the engine under load sounds as though it is pinking. There is a tinkling sound from the engine under load in any gear.
I have never used supermarket diesel. BP and Total are the norm.

Just a characteristic. But try it on the best diesel, which is BP Ultimate diesel or Shell V-Power diesel.
